Client Evaluations
Right after researching causes for not obtaining water through the door I had ruled out the line becoming frozen. My tests showed that the relay on this valve was finding energized however there was barely a trickle of water coming out so I assumed the valve necessary replacing. A new valve did not solve the challenge. The root trigger was the fitting that holds the water filter. 1 of the tubes top into the fitting was plugged, preventing filtered water from reaching the valve I had tested.
This is a drect OEM replacement part for my old dual outlet water valve. It is very easy to install. Just get rid of the back cover, I used nutdriver screwdrivers. Get rid of the single screw that holds the old bracket on. Swap the outlet lines, then swap the connectors. Mount the new valve, then remove the inlet valve from the old one particular and screw it onto the new 1.
Leave the back cover off for a while and wait for a couple of icemaker cycles and use the water through the door dispenser a few occasions. Check for leaks. If no leaks, then install the back cover applying the four screws and you're done!
Superior but watch how this guy does it [...]
